Originally created for the Brown & Bigelow Calendar Company. Norman Rockwell began working with Brown & Bigelow in 1923 when he created an image for the first Boy Scout calendar.  In 1948, his series of “Four Seasons” illustrations featured four images each year following characters through a complete year of changing seasons.

A Lickin' Good Bath
"A Lickin' Good Bath" is the first issue in Rockwell's Four Seasons Series-Me and My Pals. Issued in 1975. Issued by Gorham China in a limited edition. The plate image is based on the Four Seasons Series of 1954. This is the Winter selection. It's 10 1/2" wide and in excellent condition. Comes with box. No certificates were issued for these plates.
